For the word make in the last sentence in the passage below, is #1, #2, or #3 below possible?
1. have
2. do
3. give
The Papalagi love the round metal and the heavy paper, and they love to drink much liquid made from fruit. But above all things, they love what cannot be held but is still there ― the time. They make much foolish talk about it.

FW -
To be honest, a native speaker wouldn't write that paragraph.
A native speaker might say...
The Papalagi love round metal and heavy paper, and they love to drink juice. But above all, they love the thing that cannot be held - time. They talk about that all the time.
Hope that helps - Kristi
