Hello.

I'm doing an error identification exercise. I can't find the mistake in this sentence.

"Oil prices rose yesterday but remain around $63 a barrel as an increase in crude reserves in the United States eased worries of tight supplies."

Should it be "the worries"?

Thank you,

Nawee

For one thing, your sentence has some missing punctuation.

MS Word couldn't spot any error. I feel it should be 'worries about'.

Nawee,

Hi.

Actually, I see nothing wrong with this sentence. It sounds like it
was taken directly from a news source and seems fine.

And no, it shouldn't be "the worries", It could go toward "worries about
tight supplies".

Aside from that, I agree with Anuradha. The only thing is maybe
some missing punctuation.

Sorry, I can't help more. Good luck though. Smile
