|

Hi, everyone,
I am glad to find that there is a Index of English Exams.
English exams have become more and more popular nowadays.
I am now a college student in China and will graduate next year. So now i am considering taking an capatable exams. But i am not sure which test is more authoratative and more easy for Chinese students to handle.
And I have little spare time to prepare for an exam, which English test is more suitable for me? I hope to get some advice from you friends.
See you later,

TOEIC is the 'easiest' exam for Chinese students. There is no speaking or writing and the reading and listening are relatively easy.
The new TOELF, IELTS and particularly the Cambridge General English exams are extremely difficult for Chinese students as you need good productive skills.
Good luck!

i'm gonna take some examination this year too.
i think which one you wanna choose depends on what you need, for work or for abroad education.
if you wanna have a useful certificate for your first job i suggest that u might take 1 of the cambridge examinations which called FCE(first certificate in english) i have checked with many teachers that the cert. is quite useful for apply for a new job which need work in a english-speaking enviroment... on the other hand, if you wanna have a will to go abroad for studying,u'd better take the IELTS or TOFEL(Acadamic)
anyway study harder and keep a relaxing mood u will succeed
GOOD LUCK

Thank you for your suggestions, they're quite helpful!
I'll try hard to locate some information about Cambridge Examinations first, i think. Taking an exam is really time-assuming; i am not sure whether i can offord the time, by the way, how much time will it cost taking the C. E. in general? |
