Hi everyone!
Do you have any opinion on Shelley's Frankenstein? Can it be regarded as a Gothic novel? What does the term "Gothic" actually means? Or could it be regarded as an "Epistory Novel"?
Could Victor Frankenstein and the Creature be the same person or are both of them two different individual?
Hear from you as soon as possible.[/i][/u][/b] _________________ "Man!", I cried, "... how ignorant art thou in thy pride of wisdom!" |

"Gothic" actually refers to a period in German history, but nowadays it refers to dark or evil themes. They're also epistolary novels because they're written in the form of letters. They can be both Goth and Epistolary because the terms both define different things.
As for me, I have Frankenstein, but I haven't had a chance to read it yet.
