DO you think bus companies should be responsible for the damages and injuries that caused by bus drivers? If the answer is yes, please give me the reasons in details.

Well, I don't know how things work in your country, but in Brazil bus companies usually pay insurance taxes that covers not only the damages caused in their vehicles, but also the damages caused by it.
Despite this, everytime the bus driver is considered guilty for the damages caused in an accident (and, unfortunatelly, it's always blamed on him...), he is to pay some money to the bus company. Totally unfair most of the time, but this is how things work around here...

| In the U.S., if a bus injures a person or property, the bus company is responsible to pay for the harm done. The driver is merely an employee of the company, and while he may lose his job after running over a pedestrian or whatever, he would not have to reimburse the bus company. The bus company is supposed to have insurance for such accidents, and the insurance company would pay on behalf of the company for harm negligently done. |
