Could somebody please helpe me in undestanding this sentence?
There is evidence from the vignettes that innovation for competitiveness and local economic development are intertwined focii in the South African political economy.
Shouldn't it be "foci" instead of "focii"? (foci = plural of 'focus').
Thanks in advance!

| It could be a passable misspelling of sorts. |
