Hi, there.
Look at the following sentences.
#1. Presidents' Day is the third Monday in February.
#2. Presidents' Day is the third Monday of February.
#3. New Year's Day is the first day in January.
#4. New Year's Day is the first day of January.
Which is correct or more frequently used, 'in' or 'of'?
I'm looking forward to your answers.
Thanks. |

| I would say #1 and #4, but maybe other speakers might say other things. Unfortunately, I'm not sure why the use of in vs. of changes. |
