Hello,
Should we use "a" or "the" in this sentence? I have seen both. Does it make any difference which article we use here?
"They have set the date for their wedding, which will take place in ten years."
Thanks,

Hello Nawee
The usual idiom is "to set a date for something". However, you do sometimes hear "set the date for".
It's probably better to use the more common version.
All the best,
