About a week ago,Japanese Prime minster visited the United States,I saw his press conference which was very interesting. The Prime Minster likes Cats King-Elves Presley. He is a big Cats king fan who could sing a lot of king's songs. The President of the United states George Bush accompanied him to the Graceland where the King used to live. The Prime Minister told the crowd that his dream came true.I want to ask Japanese friends whether many Japanese are fond of Cats King.

The image of Japanese is very good around the world,Japanese are industrious and intelligent ,after World War Two,Japan was totally in ruins, but through a short periond of time,Japan became democratic ,free and prosperous country which is second largest economy in the world following the United states.

Japan once was one of world 's powerful nations in the first half twenty century, their militarism rigime had caused many Asia countries a lot of suffers.Japanese leaders have made many announcements that they apologized what their ancestors had done ,but a few Asia countries'governments such as China don't accept their apology.I don't know what more these governmens want.

I don't agree with your opinion.I wish that you could know the reason.I have read an article about it.It is this:

Good and bad people exist regardless of race or country. However, I believe that the Chinese (I am one, by the way) has a strong bias against the Japanese because, as far as I know, the Japanese government has never officially apologized for its atrocities, they only hinted on it, though. They even deny their atrocities by their attempting to revise history textbooks.

In addition, their Prime Minister continuously provokes the Chinese (and the Koreans and others) by visiting and paying homage to their war criminals at the Yasukuni Shrine.

If the Japanese government is truly sincere and repentant, it would officially apologize and build a memorial in honor of Chinese (and others) victims, similar to what the Germans did for the Jews in 2000, and there can be no more denial of what has happened in the past. Then I believe that this bias will naturally subside. Just my opinion.

To Delia Gao:

First,I am not sure if you know what happened during establishing the relationship between China and Japan in the 1970s,back then Japanese leader wanted to compensate for the loss of Chian during WWT,but the dictatorship chinese communist regime which was rulled by Chairman Mao gave up the offer, then Japanese leader once again suggested that Japan would give every chinese family a set of television which showed their guilt for what their ancestors had done to chinese during WWT,but the communist government once again refused to accept it,I don't know why the chinese government refused to accept the compensation, back then China was a very poor and impoverished country. Some experts said that the then-Chinese regime only wanted to gain politic benefits and didn't want to get economic benefits although their country badly needed economic aid.Through what stated above,it was Chinese communist governent itself in the first place didn't want the compensation from Japan. But later Japanese government gave many economic aids and favorable loans to China after China began its economic reforms.

Second, let's focusing on the announcements made by Japanese leaders, more than decades ago,Japanese then-Prime Minister made an announcement that expressed their sorry and apology for what their ancestors had done to some Asia countries during WWT,lately about one year ago,Japanese current Prime Minister Kusumi once again made a statement that expressed sorry and apology for what their ancestors had done and the suffering of some Asia countries during 1940s.I don't know if you can see the announcements made by Japanese leaders, because your dictatorship government only let you read ,watch ,listen what they want you to read, watch and listen. If your government considers the news is not favorite for their propagand, they don't let their people see them. What you can see in all-Chinese -state -run media are the contents which your government want you to see unless you have some ways to access to some oversea media through Intenet.

By the way, this post is about Japanese culture, not Japanese politics.
