hello guys! I am a junior in college in Beijing. Here I want to say something about our life time, maybe you can view these words complaint. About fifty years ago, commentators wondered what we were going to do with all the extra leisure time generate by the automation revolution. However, ironically, nowadays this so-called high technical good life has instead fostered an epidemic of overwork, stress and little rest. People who are living in such a rush of modern life has deprived of their time and even their creation to play. I really doubt if here all of us have our hobbies. Yes, its hard to blame us, coz this high-tech life has brought both convenience and insecurity to us. For me, Im now in my third year of my college life and I used to be a passionate fan of NBA, while gradually, I have faced great pressure of how to choose my next step and job-hunting. So, in this environment, my hobby becomes frivolous. I remember a writer call Lenore Terr once said play is crucial at every sage of life. In play, we discover pleasure, cultivate feelings of accomplishment, and acquire a sense of belongs. When we play, we learn and mature and find an outlet for stresses. I know it could be never too late to pick up our interest and rediscover what was known as the truth of living in the very moment.

It's funny, isn't it? I mean, the great distance between what was expected for this new century and what it actually came out to be. We've become more competitive; nowadays, your rival is not the guy who sits by your side at your class, but someone that might be at the other side of the world. That's why we're so overloaded, despite all the technollogical facilities that have made life much more easier, so they say... theorically we have more time, but time is never enough, isn't it? We almost never have time to enjoy ourselves, and when we do, we feel guilty, like we were wasting something...
What can you do? Truly "Hard times"... |

for many people ,modern lives have become more and more competitive, they must study hard and work hard for their career, they don't have lot of time to spend on their avocations or hobby, this may make a person's life very dull,so we must find a way in which we can enjoy our lives .
Different people have various views about the happiness, some people think they must earn a lot of meney ,once they earn a lot of money ,they may become old, they don't have much energy to enjoy their lives. So what is most important is that you can find pleasant things to enjoy while you pursue your career. So don't be all work and no play. |
