Today is Buddha's birthday, happy birthday!I hope everyone who worship Buddhism has a happy holiday!

I don't know how many people in the world worship Buddhism, but I know that most people in Idian worship Buddhism, and many people in China worship Buddhism, especialy in Tibet .The population in these two countries have reached to 2.4 billions which account for one-fourth of the population in the world,so people who worship Buddhism must be a large numbers.

I just google the percentage of the people who worship different beliefs in the world and find that Buddhists have 375,440,000 and account for 5.9% of world population,is fourth largest belief in the world.

The largest belief is Christianism which have 2.106,962,000 christians and account for 33% of world population.

The second largest befief is Muslem which have 1,283,424,000 Muslems and account for 20.1 % of world population.

The third largest befief is Hindus which have 851,291,000 Hinduses and account for 13,3% of the world population.

Wanna hear a cool fact?
Judaism is thought of as one of the world's major religions, yet it only comprises something pitiful like .2% of the world's populations.
It is still considered a major religion because of all the positive contributions it has had to society.
Think Einstein, Ringo Starr, Judy Garland, Karl Marx, Groucho Marx, David Schwimmer... (Some of these are more notable than others, lol)
