Er... Surprised
To many students, the summer holiday is coming!
Have you planned for your summer holiday?
Is learning English in your plan?
If so,what are you going to do? Question

Very Happy I decide to come here as often as possible,er....to practise my English~`
Every morning, get up early and read English, recite more English words!
And....
I haven't thought of other ways!

Who would like to come here and give me some good suggestions?
Thank you very much~~ Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

A Chinese person whose first language is the Cantonese dialect, second the Mandarin dialect, and third is English -- and who is now fluent in all three -- tells me that watching movies and in the foreign language and talking to people in that language are the best ways to really learn it.

What a good excuse to watch a lot of movies!

American music is good to learn to pronounce english words, as long as there proper words. You wont get far in english school if you use allot of the slag used in amaerican rap music.

also because the music is poetic, not all the sentances are used properly.

well Rap is only poetic in rhyme, and rhythm. the context of rap is garbage.

well I have not been listining to music for a while. most of what I like in america is dated rounf 1995 to 1998, because that was the time of my highschool years.

for the most part that music would be hard becasue the words are not that easy to hear over the loud music.

youknow english news on TV might help, because youcan hear them speak, and they show video to go along with it. that would help to connect english words with what is going on in the video. most likly you can see BBC on televisions all over the world.
