1. I see myself as a global citizen rather than a *country's national.*

Is that part correct?

2. I was born on December 10th, 1987.
I was born on the 10th of December,1987.

Are they both correct?

1. I would say, "I see myself as a citizen of the world rather than of just one country."

2. Different countries use different conventions. In the U.S., you would write, "I was born on December 10, 1987," but if you said that to someone, you would say, "December 10th, 1987" or "the 10th of December 1987."

Yes, that's the way you write the date, using just the numeral: December 10, 1987. When speaking, though, you say "10th," using the ordinal.

If you were writing dialogue, you would of course put the word "10th" in the speaker's mouth.

If you write or say it the second way, it's all right to phrase it as you did: "I was born on the 10th of December 1987."

Is it *in* ok?

Yes. Also, when speaking, it is common for people to say, e.g., "My birthday is Decenber 10th / December the 10th," without giving a year.

"What's your birthday again?" "December the 10th. I'll remind you next November."
