Dear Teacher,
1. "puppy love" often happens from the age of 10 to 15, right?
2. The band Westlife used to sing "Seasons in the sun". Does this mean "very good seasons"?
3. The male singer Lionel Richie used to sing "Say you Say me". I've asked many Teachers, but until now they haven't been able to explain the exact meaning of it. So what does this mean?
Thanks a bunch to Teachers,

3. Lyrics aren't always concrete or literal. Bob Dylan wrote (and Jimi Hendrix most famously sang), "Excuse me while I kiss the sky." I'd like to see that.
The chorus of the song goes like this:
Say you, say me
Say it for always
That's the way it should be
Say you, say me
Say it together
Naturally
The song is about lonely people finding each other and finding love. Maybe "Say you, say me" is shorthand for, "Let's talk about a couple of people -- say, you and me -- who might find eternal love." _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |
