Well, I like horror narratives and novels but I don't like King. I really don't know why, but I'm not able to finish reading of his books. They are tedious for me, I think. I tired to read "Shining", "Shooter" and "Hurts in the Atlantis" (I'm not sure if I translated the last book name from Russian properly)...
On the other hand I tried to read "Dracula" by Bram Stocker. It's so tedious to! It's written in epistolary form!
I like Poe's novels! They are very vivid and scary ones!)))

From Stephen King all I read was "Gerald's Game". I remember enjoying it at the time. It helped me to solve some inner puzzles. . . .

I enjoy reading horror books. The best ones I read were lendend to me by a great friend:

- "The Best Ghost Stories of Algernon Blackwood";
- "I Am Legend" by Richard Matheson;
- "Moon Dance", "Vampire Junction", "Valentine", and "Vanitas", by Thai writer S. P. Somtow.

I also enjoy Poe's tales (the one about the cat is a classic!).
