Is it OK to use gerunds consecutively?
For example,
-Keeping trying is vitally crucial to reach expertness.
-Never stopping working is essential to see things affirmatively.
Thank you. _________________ YUKIKO |

When using two infinitives together, one is preferably a to-inf and one an ing-inf. Your sentences sound better this way:
-To keep trying is vitally crucial to reach expertness.
-Never stopping to work/To never stop working is essential to see things affirmatively. |

I agree with 'to never stop working', but 'never stopping to work' means the opposite, right? I'm sure a lot of people would like never having to stop what they're doing because there's work to be done
I think some double gerunds are ok in informal speech - like 'I'm never quitting smoking!' - but the 'to + infinitive' way usually works better. |
