1. Bob went to London last Tuesday. / He is still in London now. (since)
=1-1. Bob has gone to London since last Tuesday.
1-2. Bob has been in London since last Tuesday.
Which one is correct?

2. It ________________(be) six years since the Lins moved to L.A.
2-1. is
2-2. has been
Which one is correct?

3. I have studied English from two o�clock on.
3-1. Is the sentence correct?
3-2. Is the sentence idiomatic?

2). It is six years since the Lins moved to L.A.

3). I studied English from two o'clock on. (Happened in the past).
I have been studying English since two o'clock. (I'm still doing it.)

idiomatic:- I have been boning up on English since two o'clock or
swatting

In British English the second one's definitely 'swotting', I'm not sure about US English though. I haven't heard that in a while either! Very Happy
