Hi,
I wrote sentences as following:
This article grabs my attention because I never thought about how Cinderella spent her days before she met the prince, and I am eager to know the answer. Therefore, I will continue to read the rest of the patagraph.
Are those sentences OK? Because my writing tutor said I should write the sentences like these:
This article grabs my attention, I never thought about how Cinderella spent her days before she met the prince, I am also eager to know the answer.
I argued with my writting tutor. I said " Can we write three sentences without any connector?" He said "Yes". I am confused because he is a native speaker but I learned the rule that we should use connector to combine two simple sentence in my writting book.
Who is right?

Really confused ESL student

Get another tutor. My students make mistakes like that all the time. I think you are right and your tutor is wrong.
