Hello,
Which is correct?
a. I have just changed jobs. Now I'm working for...
b. I have just changed my job. Now I'm working for...
c. I have just changed a job. Now I'm working for...
And can you explain why?
Thank you,

The best one is:
"a. I have just changed jobs. Now I'm working for... " You could also say "switched jobs," too.
You wouldn't say "changed my job" or "changed a job," not because they don't convey what you mean to say, but just because they don't sound right. I can't give you a better answer than that, but maybe someone else can.
If you had to choose one of the two, b or c, I'd recommend picking "changed my job." _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |
