Hi,
1. She is far from _________ with the result of the exam.
A. satisfied; B. being satisfied
It seems to me that both of them are correct. What do you say?
2. I�d like to ______to the beach last summer, but I had no time.
A. go; B. be going; C. have gone
I don�t which is/are correct.

I wanted to add something to what CP said. When you look at # 2, you see "last summer". "Last summer" indicates the past. So does "I had no time".
A. I'd like to go to the beach (in the past) ???
B. I'd like to be going to the beach (in the past) ???
No. Neither of these is right for handling the past.
But, as CP said, the third choice (C) works just fine. |
