You are funny - and I don't mean that in a bad way.

"May" is a wiggle-word, like "try" is a wiggle-word. Remember what Yoda said "Do, or do not. There is no 'try.'"

Are you biased, or not? Smile

By the way; I appreciate your opinion, and you express it well. I shall now cede the last word to you.

Fine-- my opinions ARE biased (I just used "may" because don't know quite how, since biases are generally subconcious in some way or another).

I appreciate your opinion too- thanks for posting Smile

Whoa! The other shoe drops.

The links are interesting, that's for sure. And it's fair to say that they are on a web site that is very pro-Islamic.

Yeah, definitely interesting Smile
I would NOT say that Judaism and Zionism are synonymous, just that many Zionist sites also tend to support Judaism (for obvious reasons).

Since we have both a Muslim and a Jew in this discussion, could you please explain to me what is at the root of this hatred that Muslims hold for Jews?
It all seems pretty mindless and pointless to me, but then I haven't cluttered up my mind with a lot of religious doctrine.

I'm not Muslim.

I am a philosophical Daoist.

Is k.m.m. Muslim?

I don't care what you are, although, if you are a Daoist then you are probably on the right track - what do you think is the cause of this hatred?

As far as I know, there isn't really a hatred between the two religions (I think Islam is as valid a religion as any, basically), but only an awful hatred between the governments over there.

I CAN try to tell you the root between those governments (see my first post).

And yeah, I think KMM is Islamic.

The base motivator for almost every action taken by humans is fear.

Fear is the opposite of acceptance. It is the genesis of intolerance, bigotry, greed, and hate.

Lack of understanding becomes, fear of the unknown, causing a desire to eliminate the cause of the fear - we kill spiders for the same reason.

Pretty lame reason for centuries of war huh?

flying_pig319:

I DO AGREE that no hate between the two religions , the hate "which I don't like to say it, I prefer to say CONFLICT "because the Palestinian problem , Palestinian people,Palastinian independent, Palestinians rights to have their own state ,this the main cause .I think if it solved most of the problems will be solved all over the middle east,
I am a Liberal Muslims or you can say a liberal and Muslim ..
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liberal_movements_within_Islam

I found something about the three Abraham realigns :
Differences:
Although there are many similarities there are also differences. Islam and Judaism do not believe in the trinity while Christians do. The Muslims believe that Jesus was a prophet but not part of God/Allah himself. The Muslims also believe that Christ was not crucified by the Jews, but the Christians do. The Christians believe that instantly after death you are judged by your deeds and either sent to heaven or to hell. The Muslims and the Jews on the other hand, believe that the souls of the deceased will be judged on Judgment Day. The Muslims believe that all people are born pure, but the Christians believe that they were born with original sin and must be baptized to be free of it. Hell and Heaven are forever in Christianity, but in the Islamic faith Allah could forgive you and it would be possible to reach Heaven. The Islamic Hell is a sort of cleansing you could say. Only females are allowed to wear gold in the Islamic faith, while both male and female can wear it in Judaism and Christianity. Jews and Christians believe that the prophets were not pure but the Muslims believe that all of the prophets were pure. Muslims and Jews do not eat swine, but Christians are permitted to. In Islam, the prophet Muhammad's and Ali's face can't be shown but Christians and Jews pray to icons and pictures of their prophets. Muslims and Jews are required to cover their heads but Christians do not.
