Hello redset

A few days ago you tought me the usage of not and no in http://www.eslcafe.com/forums/student/viewtopic.php?t=19379 .

After that some other teachers gave me replies in http://www.eslcafe.com/forums/student/viewtopic.php?t=19534 .

But I can't forget your suggestion in http://www.eslcafe.com/forums/student/viewtopic.php?t=19379 and would like to know the usage of not and no in British English.

So I changed my question a little bit according to your suggestion as follows. Would you teach me?

Q: Are the following sentences correct?

S1: There is not any parking here.
S2: There is not any running in the hall.
S3: There is not any avoiding the loss.
S4: There is not any getting around the job.

Thanks a lot for your help.

Hi Tetsu - sorry, I didn't see that other thread. If you don't mind, I'll answer your questions in this one:

I think it would be better to keep everything in that thread, so other teachers can help. Ok? Smile
