Hi,
I'd like to know the difference between these two following sentences, and which is natural?
a. What he said is true.
b. What he said was true.
Thank you very much!

What he said is true, means that what he said was true then, and it is still true.
For example:He said his father died on the 8th February 1956.
What he said was true, means, what he said was true at the time, but may not be true now.
For example: He said her father was in Europe last year. |
