Did you visit to New Zaeland? In this year??
Where did you stay? I'd stayed in Christchurch, Queenstown and Nelson.
And I went on a journy to South Island alone.
I love the sea of nelson, and mountain in Queenstown.
Of course, Bungee Jumping was so sweet!!!

I just have to admit, New Zealand is just beautiful. Had been there in 2000 for 6 weeks. All I had was just my backpack and the airline ticket to Auckland. I had no idea on how to travel or where to spent nights at.
I really was surprised how good everything is organised for backpackers. I really loved the hostel from the BBH-Booklet; always nice, cosy, quite familar atmosphere. Well, stayed 3 days in AUckland to get things arragned, decided to rent a car for the whole trip, almost 7000 km in 6 weeks. STarted at Auckland, Waitomo, Roturura, Wellington, Picton, Nelson, Fox Glacier, Wanaka, Queenstown (THE place to bungee-jump!), Dunedin, Christchurch, Mt.Cook, Kaikura, East End, 90 miles beach back to Auckland. That was gorgious... All I can advise is, take some more time to enjoy nature, go on any tracking tour, Queen Charlotte should be wonderful.
I really look forward to visit NZ once more, just to see all the missed places like Milford Sound and the West Coast of the north Island and alot more.

Btw, if you really wanna stay at a wonderful quiet place to relax, Collingwood as a hostel you just can dream about.
