"I'm on the bare living." or "I lack money."is acceptable when I mean "I'm hard up."?
Thank you in advance!

Hi Junkomama,
Try:
I'm barely making a living.
I have a lack of funds.
I'm short on funds.
I'm short on money.
I'm hard up for money.
