Does "it has merit" mean "it has value" or "it is valuable"?
Is "it has merit" a natural way to say "it has value"?
Thanks! |

Yes. Something that has worth, value, importance has merit. You might say, "The speaker was ridiculed by the crowd, but his ideas have merit." _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |
