Try "Teacher Training" listed under "Stuff For Teachers" on Daves' Homepage (main menu). Also, try a "search" on the "Job Dicussion Forums".

I got my TESOL certificate through a program at my school. As far as I know, all you need to start teaching English is a TESOL certificate. The woman who taught me that course actually went to University and has a degree in it (takes years). I don't really know what school to go to for that. But if you are interested in a start check into TESOL courses.
Hope this provides alittle help!

Hi everyone,

My name is Ruth and I am from i-to-i which is an organisation that promotes volunteering and travel opportunities. We offer a number of TEFL courses which you might be interested in. All the courses provide an internationally recognised certificate and there is also the opportunity of taking a Paid Teaching Placement where i-to-i will help you find a salaried teaching job, accommodation and airport pick-up as well as continued support. I thought this might be of interest.

Hope that helps

Ruth
