Click HERE for a list of common prepositions that will be easy to *be printed out.*
Which one sounds better?
2.Could anyone explain *to redeem yourself"?
Does that mean *to try to justify what you did*?
3 It's too cold in winter to run outside.
or
It's too cold in *winters* to run outside.

1. "Will be easy to print out" sounds better and is much more likely to be used than "will be easy to be printed out."
2. "To redeem yourself" doesn't mean "to try to justify what you did." It means to make up for what you did. Maybe you didn't study and got bad scores on a couple of tests. But then you studied very hard, got top marks on three tests in a row, and so redeemed yourself in the eyes of your teacher.
3. We just say "in winter" in the singular to mean in the wintertime. Same, of course, for all the seasons. _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |
