Please let me know which sentence is right?

- I hope you will have a nice time tomorrow.

- I hope you have a nice time tomorrow.

I always think the first one is correct, however I notice many native speakers use the second one which is a present tense, so I would like to know the reason why and which is grammatically correct.

People would say it either way. Maybe because the future tense is implied in hoping anything, it is often all right to use the present tense after hope. I hope you like your birthday present, for example.

People often also use the future tense after hope, too. I hope you will come back next year.
