| A trip usually means going to a place for some reason - you might take a business trip to another city to have meetings at another office, or you might go on a trip to another country for a holiday, or even take a trip to the bank to cash a cheque. Travel is more about the actual journey, or seeing many different places - when people say they want to 'travel the world' they want to go to many places and experience many things, but travel can also be as mundane as taking the bus to work. |
