I saw many Japanese when I was in London. I see many Japanese at my office in the U.S. too. Smile

I see many Japanese tourists where I live in Southern California. Also more than 20% of the people where I live are Asian.

For Tourists, Southern California is nice, Hawaii is nice and there are may Japanese living there, Europe is nice to visit, and Australia. I like Taiwan and China, but it's not so different for you as the U.S. or Europe because China is still an Eastern culture.

Have fun,

I agree with the person who suggested that you travel to Italy, France, Spain, and Greece. I have been to Italy, France, and Spain, but never to Greece--that's where I would like to go next. However, I very much like that part of the globe. Happy Travels! Very Happy

I went to Spain Last summer with my buddies.

It was awesome!! Especially a city called Toledo was nice.
The entire city was a big maze. We wandered through
dozens of small paths and enjoyed paella at a cozy local restaurant.

Every streets and building was made of stone.
We saw an old Catholic cathedral and set of armors and sords that
Spanish Knights must have worn in the Medieval times.

I thought we had jumped into the real Medieval spain until we would
find Mcdonald's in the open space.

It's a big world out there, and there's really a lot for you to explore. I agree with many of the other posts, so it's just a question of where you want to get started. If you're looking for beautiful islands, there are plenty on your side of the world (closer than Europe). Hawaii is magical and incredibly diverse (each island is like its own little universe), while French Polynesia has jaw-dropping islands like Bora Bora and Moorea, and Micronesia has tons of unspoilt landscapes. If you're looking for something really different, the Mediterranean will certainly be a big change for someone from Japan. Islands like Sardinia and Corsica are remarkable, while Mykonos and Ibiza will teach you a thing or two about hedonism.

Away from the sea, there are so many remarkable places on this planet, it's hard to know where to begin. Do you want the rich history of a city like Rome? The energy of New York? The grand architecture of Prague? The endless nights of Madrid? Or do you want to escape all of that: a camel trek across the Sahara; sunrise over the Serengeti; trekking across the Alps; ascending to Machu Picchu. Really, you can blindly point to a spot on the map and find a reason to visit. I say get out there as soon as you can: there's a whole world waiting!

Chris
