Hi All,
Which of the following sentences is right and why?
When I look off of a bridge or tall building, I feel scared.
When I look off a bridge or tall building, I feel scared.
when I look off of my porch, I see all the area.
Should I use Off of or only Off ?
Thanks,

.
Off of is common in casual use, but can/should be simplified to off in more formal language.
