Hi,teachers! Please help me.
Which of the following 2 sentences is correct(or sounds more natural)?;
1,A different logic applys to the children's world and the adult's world.
2,Two different logics apply to the children's world and the adult's world.
Either will do? or only one of them is correct???
Thanks always!

.
Logically, only #2 is correct, to me. #1 suggests that children's and adult's worlds are one grouping, and that there exists also another.

Thank you for the answer,teacher !
But I want to ask you more;
you said that only #2 sentence was right ....
Yeah, I felt so.
But here's a problem.
I made up #2 sentence,and #1 sentence was from an English dictionary!
When I found that sentence in the English dictionary,I couldn't understand why that sentence was right ( enough to be on the dictionary!),so I need some explanation.
What do you think...? _________________ maako |

.
I think what I said. They are both grammatically correct, but only #2 seems logically correct to me.
You might notice that your dictionary misspelled applies-- also, children is plural while adult is singular (grammatically correct, but poor style). Take warning from these small infelicities that dictionaries are not perfect.
