I'd love to ask a question about the date of the day/holiday.
In the textbook, it is written like "What is the date today?"
But usually people say "what date is today". Is this sentence right?
Are they both the same?
That's confusing to me.
Thanks. |

Actually, usually people say, "What day is today?" and the answer is Tuesday, or Wednesday, etc.
When people say, "What's the date today?" the answer is October 31, November 2, etc. |

Hi elviskh,
We also commonly hear,
"What's today's date?"
