Hi native teachers,
I so often come across sentences as follows:
The configuration is such that the amplifier is inserted between the circuit A and the circuit B.
In my understanding, "such that" is used to express a degree or quality.
I think the above is not correct.
Please give me your comments.

It is correct.
It means the configuration is done in this way. The result is that the amplifier is inserted....etc..
They could have said, The amplifier goes between circuit A and circuit B.
Sometimes technical writers do not use the most succint language. |
