I saw this photo some time ago, and it hit's me. Today i saw it again, but no explanation about author and place it was taken...
I want this photo badly on print or just in high resolution
Can you please help me with this one?

Gee, I can't believe no one can help identify this photo! I thought someone would know it in a day or two.
My guess is that it was taken in the 1940s or 1950s, probably in Europe.
Come on, people, let's solve the mystery!
Oh, Natasha: What publication did you see the photo in? Maybe you can ask the publisher. Good luck! _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |

That photo is great.
Many people think it is candid - when actually it was posed. Doesn't matter.
The object of a good art photograph is to evoke a feeling of place, emotion, or both. This photo does both. _________________ Daniel

I took a circuitous route in higher education starting at Fine Arts and ending with a Business Administration degree.
Along the way I studied the History and Aesthetics of Photography taught by John Upton. Upton was one of the most demanding professors I ever had - and very well respected photographer and an extraordinary educator.
My photography and way of seeing "images" was deeply influenced by Upton's influence - and some things just stuck. Some very useful things, and some odd things.
I'll bet you didn't know that Lewis Carroll (the author of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland) was an avid photographer. Many images he created were "child nudes" which might be considered child pornography by today's standards in the U.S. _________________ Daniel

That photograph is one of the most beautiful pictures ever taken... I had it as a big poster on the wall in my bedroom when I was a teen, and it still touches me somehow to look at it. It is just perfect. |
