if someone ask me if i ever been abroad
and i say that
no i have never been abroad
or if i say
no actually this is my first visit outside the country
then would both be correct
please correct me and dont forget to check preposition in my sentences
i am really bad at the use of "the " and "a' |

Hi there,
Both sentences are grammatically correct but
"No, I have never been abroad before."
"No, actually this is my first visit outside my (not the) country."
You need to use these if you are not in your home country now.
"I have never been abroad." means you haven't left your home country and are there now. |
