I work in a hotel, and our customer is mostly business traveller.
Sometimes, I would like to have a short conversation with my customer to let them feel at home but I always do not know how to begin a conversation. Is there resources on the net provide proper conversation sample for my reference? Thank you!

You can always start by asking something familiar, especially easy when you are employed at the person's temporary home, the hotel:

Good afternoon, sir. Have you been able to find everything you need?
Is there anything I can do for you?
How do you find your accommodations?
Have you stayed with us before?
I wonder if you've been to Australia. I particularly like Sydney, don't you?
Have you been traveling long? Where is home? How soon will you get to return home?
I see you are reading Kurt Vonnegut. I liked "Cat's Cradle" very much. How do you like "Breakfast of Champions" so far?
