but I still suspect the impossibility as I know many things in China that can be done through the back door are rife. That makes me think there is no problem when you catch up with the right person and have bills on hand.

That's another point. and I believe those things you mentioned like the right person and bills do exist in China.

What if the government allows us to visit TW? then we don't have to find to the right person and plenty of bills when we wanna go to TW for a trip. we just need as much money like the money with which we visit UK or Thailand.

They may be right to a certain extent, since there's no official "diplomatic relation" between the two sides... and yes, it's a pity in that regard. However, I think there might be ways around it if you have the will...

Yeah, the current status quo is a political stalemate that's affecting people's lives. People in Taiwan don't want to fall under the control of the Communist government, and that's the reason for wanting separation. The Communist government and the ultra-nationalistic mainlanders will attack Taiwan if it separates... but why? For what? Who's right? Is it wrong for people to have a democratic nation? Just because the the Taiwanese people have Han blood flowing in them, does that mean Taiwan have to move backwards to Communist system where there's limited freedom of speech? Wouldn't an official diplomatic relation between the two sides as separate countries be better off for you and me?

Anyways, glad you're interested in visiting Taiwan. Good luck and best wishes.

i think u r going to an extreme...the chinese communist party is not as terrible as you think... the mainland is getting more demorcratic these days...

yes ,i am a chinese ,i am a communist .am i devil??? Twisted Evil ,NO ~!i think i am fine .

I am a Chinese, too, but not a communist. I am not quite satified with my life, and feel there are social problems need to be solved in China. But I realize things are getting better everyday, and most importantly, I am so thankful that we don't have wars in our country. I have trust in Hu and his team.

the problem between Taiwan and mainland China was created by America........

Taiwan is 1 of the tools in American hands, like a card in a card game, ^^

The most popular reason for Taiwan to be independent is to be more powerful than how she is now.

How can Taiwan be more powerful?
With the help of America.

It seems logical, with the help of the most powerful country in the world, Im sure you will become powerful soon. ^^

But ... the problem is .......America will help Taiwan??

^O^
