Hello,

Would you say: eatable or edible mushrooms ?

Is there a difference between the two words?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Edible would be the best one to use although the other word does exist.

Thank you very much!

I thought that maybe eatable means: can be eaten - without any guarantee that you can digest it.

and edible would mean: can be eaten and is 'good', not poisonous.

Or don't you use eatable at all?

It doesn't always give a definitive answer but it's fun to use.
