Turtle, I added some comment on your blog. and I have translated your original verse Very Happy

Well!

Lovely RedRose. How surprising, what a nice comment.

Maybe more surprising, from your translation it seems you may be very romantic underneath all your jokes. But who would know that if they couldn't read Chinese?

The lady beside me was my fiancee. Though we never married - she is still a very good friend of mine.

Hey, Turtle, why don't you past your MSN space website on your Signature?

Put it here, that way we can visit it anytime.

Besides, how about you write English poems, and we both translate them in Chinese; and I write Chinese poems, and we both translate them in English?

Isn't that a nice idea?

The button that says "www" at the bottom of my posts, it goes to my MSN Spaces blogsite.

Translating poetry to and from and language is challenging. And it's good practice with English. Sounds interesting to me.

My teacher told me that the best way to learn Chinese culture is to speak to native Chinese speakers. She strongly recommended eChineseOnline.com, which is an online live program offered by a Chinese learning institution. You can reserve a language partner on the website and talk to her through Skype or MSN. Anyone who has signed up can get the first session for free.

beancurd, you must have a lot of money to afford travelling to China so many times.
Oh my mom suppresses me to go to China this Christmas, but I don't want to go! Can you go for me instead?

I would love to go. But it's your mother who wishes to see you and I'm not your mother's son.

Go.

Just curious, any particular reason for not going? Are you abroad just for studies?
