What does the following sentence mean? "Dr. Greene, lab needs another red top on Caine." Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.

It means that the lab needs another tube of patient Caine's blood and the blood has to be put in a collecting tube that is sealed with a red rubber (top)(plug).
