hello does anybody know whether you can transport a real military sword from China to Germany? Well my uncle (he is general) gave such a sword to me as present. (well I have learned a bit of shao-lin-sword, but this military sword (well, it's rather a sabre than a sword but it's much longer than the one on this photo and it's not that curved and it's not that broad. Ohhh the handle is made of gold and it has the end of the golden handle is made like a lionhead. It has a platform on which you can place it and on it there is written: "Military's first sabre"

Soso now how can I transport it??? If I take a real sword on the plane maybe I will have to kill innocent policemen and maybe I will sit in a cell for a long time and I will lose that beautiful German girl, if I haul it they will see it with x-ray and the guys at airport will steal it and never give it back to me

If you are travelling on an airline you can put it in your baggage which goes in the cargo hold.
You should check with German customs to see if there is any problem with importing it but I think, with historical items, there is not.

first sorry to all for my bad english in the last posting, I was too emotional than rational. And second thank you dear sun_q and pugachevV, but this sword is really very good and I fear I could lose it.

It it will also be controlled, no matter whether you do it by air-transport or by ship-transport. But thank you for your suggestions.
