Could you please check for mistaks the following which i translated
from my mother language into english


A Water Tide Socket should be fixed next to the projector as well as
making a hole for the feeding cable to go through as this cable was
laying on the deck for a long distance

A watertight socket should be installed next to the projector and a hole should be made for the feed cable to go through as this cable will be lying on the deck for a long distance.

You have two occurrences of "should be" and then "was". To be consistent you need "will be lying".

I have presumed that "Water Tide" is not a brand name and that you mean watertight.
