Could you edit the following? It is not homework.
Pet Feeding.
As a rule, pets are fed at regular schedules, ideally twice, or in four small meals, daily. Unless you are willing to prepare a proper nutritious pet food yourself, you may buy pet food either in cans or bags readily available in the market. Always provide sufficient clean water when meal is given.
Try not to feed your pets with left-over food from your table, and never give your pet too much food because you are too soft-hearted to stop. An over-weight pet is uncomfortable carrying that extra weight around, and besides, it has low resistance to illness.
In addition, some adjustment in food preparation is needed for a sick pet. You should boil water and prepare low sodium pet food, and avoid filtered water as it usually has a higher sodium content.
Thanks.

There's not much wrong with this at all.
I have made only a couple of small changes.
If you want to keep "schedule" rather than replace it with interval you need to say: As a rule, pets are fed on a regular schedule. Or, pets should be fed on a regular schedule.
I think you may improve the piece if you replaced, it has low resistance to illness with, An overweight pet may have low resistance to illness |
