GO LINUX!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm glad a fellow costarican also likes Linux, hehehe.
Linux is much better that Windows, because it's free and it's a better product.

Could be... But Linux works very similar to Windows, though much better because you don't get so many viruses and stuff like that... Besides it's FREE. _________________ PURA VIDA! Carpe Diem

If someone still hesitate, then there is all explained.
http://polishlinux.org/gnu/10-reasons-to-dump-windows-part-i/
I'm using Linux over year now and don't miss windows at all. But first time I tried it on year 1999 I think. It was mandrake linux that time. I also tried Corel Linux. but I did not stayed then on linux that time long. Since I had 486 computer then, but all distributions I was able to get, were optimized to i586. and I was not experienced enough to compile all my self.
Now I'm using Arch Linux. It's very simple. All configuration can be done by editing one single /etc/rc.conf file.. And allways can update to newest stable software. When in mandriva example it was very difficult to get new version of KDE to working.. I had to wait new release of Mandriva to get new KDE.
I think also to install gentoo, I have tied it last year about 3 times, but did not get it working in way I like.. if not before then when I get new faster computer I'm surely will Install also gentoo beside of Arch |
