Dear Teachers,

1. Baby you know what! without your love I'd be half a man.
- "I'd be half a man" means "I would be very sad",right?

2a. - Stay out of my way.
2b. - Get out of my way.
- Are these the same meaning? If not, when do we use 2a & 2b?

1. It means that he would not feel like a man any more if she didn't love him.
He has apparently forgotten there are other women in the world.

2. Stay out of my way, means, keep away from me. There is an unspoken threat that something bad will happen if your paths cross again.

3. Get out of my way, means....Move!
