Is it called "make-up holiday" ?
Students of my school have to go to class on a particular Saturday, because the school gave us an extra day off to make a long holiday lasting in a row.
The first weekend and Tuesday were off, and to make it convenient for most commuters. It put in Monday.

That's not a common situation, so I don't know that there is any specific term for that. "Make-up" is good, but "make-up for the holiday" is probably more accurate than "make-up holiday." |

Then, how would you call that if you have to give it a name?

I would call it a make-up day or a make-up Saturday. You are attending one extra day to make up for an extra day of holiday. It's a make-up day. Since it's a Saturday, unusual for a school day, it's a make-up Saturday. _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |
