Dear youngdog,
You've spotted a few mistakes that proofreading missed.
Here are two more.
1. "A total 24 applications" (I'd use "a total of 24 applications".)
2. For that reason, Sado Island officials are highlighting the island's unique culture, including traditional folk art, such as puppet plays, that were brought to the island by settlers as well as the fishing and farming techniques that fed a booming population. (There are two comma errors. A comma is needed after settlers; the one after plays should be removed.)  _________________ Mary W. Ng
