Hello: Rogerlz , I am fine though there is a little busy in my work, I'm a
optimist man! You are right, there are much dialects in chinese, some of them I also understand difficultly. I speak mandarin.
I think you are born in CR , right? Have you been to chia?
I live in SUZHOU city of Jiangsu province , a very beautiful city ever,
there is a few change because of the development of industry, I prefer the natural beauty than artificial view.
I never go abroad , I think that CR is sure a very beautiful county!
Happy every day, andy good luck ! |
Is true that CR is a nice place, I went to china once, when I was 9 years old!!! And I like to much the place where I went to visit: Hong-kong, Sam gion ( I don't really like these place, also I can understand when someone speak to me in the dialect of this place) and makau!!! The province that I like more was hong-kong.
And also I don't know very much about China, I know what another costarican know!!! Well, the only think is that I know to speak cantonese!!! and everybody ask me to tell them something in chinese _________________

Rogerlz my friend your life is so interesting! And I also think it's not necessary for us to insist in finding a Chinese girlfriend. For example I have a German girlfriend now and I feel that she is the most perfect girl in the world.
So go for all the blondes! haha _________________ If I say "I love you" to someone, then I also have to say "I also love everyone else inside you, I love the whole world because of you, I also love myself inside you." -- Erich Fromm, the Art of Love |

hahaha I know I know your mom is fearing that western girls are to crazy and go to disco all night etc.
Tell her that you can't judge any specific body by his face. There are crazy Chinese girls (I know one, 26 years old, ohhh she talks faster than a waterfall and it never ends...) as well as kind, reasonable western girls.
edit: We are seriously off-topic, let's say I'm not very good at any language but I can speak many languages. For example I speak German with my German friends and with Kathi and Chinese with my Chinese friends and with my relatives. _________________ If I say "I love you" to someone, then I also have to say "I also love everyone else inside you, I love the whole world because of you, I also love myself inside you." -- Erich Fromm, the Art of Love |

Yeah my grandma has such a style, too. However maybe this is really right (in a way). If we look at the governing system, e.g. Germany (I think Costa Rica too) concentrates on the keyword "freedom" and China concentrates on the keyword "career".
That's because people in Germany have a high living standard and in China there are very much people who live in absolute poverty. As you will possibly not die of hunger in Germany, secondary demands like "freedom" or "protection of environment" becomes important. In China primary demands like "eat" or "sleep" is important because of many people living in poverty.
But that's only statistics. In every sheep herd there can also be a black one. _________________ If I say "I love you" to someone, then I also have to say "I also love everyone else inside you, I love the whole world because of you, I also love myself inside you." -- Erich Fromm, the Art of Love |

Well Roger... What can you do? Let me see... What happens with your mum is a cultural problem and no one can possibly change that, only herself. You can only wait, maybe time will make her change her mind.

Well...at home, we all speak Arabic , sometimes English words you can hear it..
I am trying to teach my kids English or another language as much as I can..In school they teach them English from the first year"privet school, but government school from the sixth grade" ...But practicing the language is very important ... so when we go to Pizza hut or MacDonald's or international restaurant, I ask the English menu so my kids /family ask our order..
In work as I work in a privet technical company all letters and corresponding must be in English, so at work we should speak English..etc... |
